ESC'S DARRYL MAXIMILIAN ROBINSON PRESENTS PORTIONS OF A MAY 2026 EXCALIBER SHAKESPEARE COMPANY ACTOR'S FOCUS ( FORUM ) INTERVIEW WITH LONGTIME ESC TEAM MEMBER AND NOTED STAGE AND SCREEN ACTOR DANNY BELROSE RECORDED INDOORS AT THE EATERY MASTER BURGER AND OUTDOORS AT THE INTERSECTION OF OLYMPIC AND SOUTH BROADWAY IN DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES!
For nearly nine years skilled veteran St. Louis, Missouri, Chicago, Illinois, Portland, Oregon and Los Angeles, California stage and screen performer and musician Danny Belrose has contributed his behind-the-scenes talents as a photographer, videographer and editor to the multiracial chamber theatre and video arts group The Excaliber Shakespeare Company Los Angeles Archival Project. Mr. Belrose first worked with ESC Founder Darryl Maximilian Robinson during the early 1990s in his native St. Louis as an acting company member of Excaliber Productions, Ltd. in The Gateway City playing under Mr. Robinson's direction in such roles as Jerry ( opposite Mr. Robinson as Peter in Excaliber's 1993 revival production of Edward Albee's "The Zoo Story" and Jake in St. Louis playwright Robert Friedman's one-act "A Man of Experience" ( opposite acclaimed voice actor Carey "Frylock" Means as Rueben ) at Cummel's Cafe Studio Theatre is Downtown St. Louis; Lord Amiens in Excaliber's 1993 "Men of Arden" ( an video theatre rendition of selected scenes of the principal male characters in Shakespeare's "As You Like It" ) Broadcast throughout the greater St. Louis area on The Double Helix Cable Access Network and originated the role of Cruz ( opposite Mr. Robinson as Father Angelus ) in the 1994 Excaliber Productions, Ltd. World Premiere production of St. Louis playwright Robert Friedman's "Fire and Brimstone" presented at the St. Marcus Theater in the Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis.
On Monday Afternoon May 11, 2026 ( just days before the talented performing artist Danny Belrose's 51st birthday on May 17th ), ESC Founder, Artistic Director and Producer Darryl Maximilian Robinson decided to turn his own camera on his longtime friend and professional colleague who has given his time, energy and talent to his craft over the course of multiple decades in multiple cities.
