Nearly 11 years ago, in the fall months of 2013, in November and December, your humble servant in The Theatre, Darryl Maximilian Robinson appeared as 1940s radio actor, comedian and entertainer Harry "Jazzbo" Heywood who provides the voices of numerous characters including Harry Bailey, Sam Wainwright, and most notably, Clarence Oddbody, AS2 in playwright Joe Landry's "It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play." YOUR HUMBLE SERVANT IN THE THEATRE, DARRYL MAXIMILIAN ROBINSON, SHARES HIS BEST FIRST PREVIEW PERFORMANCE AND WORST CLOSING NIGHT PERFORMANCE STORY ON THE SAME DAY EVER!: On the evening of March 11, 2020, your humble servant, Darryl Maximilian Robinson had the great joy of appearing as The Announcer in the very first Preview Performance of The Ark Theatre of North Hollywood, California's bright, spanking new staging of its "Olde Tyme Radio Hour" rendition of a 1946 Episode of "The Dick Tracy Radio Show" entitled "The Case of The Big Top Murders" with a very talented cast and crew. The show was far from perfect, with several technical glitches, but was extremely well received by the live audience ( who enjoyed the unexpected humor and laughs provided ) and the piece showed potential of being quite successful once the tech issues were cleaned up.
