City of Angels Theatre Lovers and Supporters,
It is with great pleasure that your humble servant in The Theatre, Excaliber Shakespeare Company Los Angeles Archival Project Founder Darryl Maximilian Robinson ( a 51-year veteran stage performer who recently made his Culver City Public Theatre debut in the comedic supporting role of Chicago Tribune Newspaper Reporter Roy V. Bensinger in "The Front Page" ), shares selected video clips of the Spring 2024 Publicity Photo Shoot of The Culver City Public Theatre revival production of Ben Hecht's and Charles MacArthur's 1928 classic stage comedy "The Front Page."
The lively selected video was provided by an off-camera member of the ensemble Mr. Tae Ho Yoon.
It provides a behind the scenes look at a company of performers in a new staging of a classic work.
The Culver City Public Theatre received multiple 2024 Broadwayworld Los Angeles Awards nominations for its outdoor summer season stagings of its revival of Ben Hecht's and Charles MacArthur's 1928 classic comedy "The Front Page" ( which also utilized large portions of Charles Lederer's 1940 screenplay of "His Girl Friday" ) and the Theatre For Young Audiences mounting of the musical "Gideon And The Blundersnorp" which were both presented at The Carlson Memorial Park in Culver City, California.
THE FRONT PAGE received a total of 8 2024 Broadwayworld Los Angeles Award Nominations For:

Rossi as Bruce Baldwin, Danielle Fraser as Endicott, Tamara Koltes as Mollie Molloy, Steven Milner as Sheriff Hartman, Eric Billitzer doubling as Dr. Max J. Eglehofffer and The Mayor, Alicia Sterling Beach as McCue, Ted Burke as Diamond Louie, Phoenix Ever as Wilson, Rory McLaverty as Schwartz, Lynda Palmer as Mrs. Baldwin, Roderick Walker as Murphy and Tae Ho Yoon doubling as Gus and Earl Williams.
