With the fine assistance of aspiring actor and internet content creator Tywayne Burns, who provided the videography and still photography, Excaliber Productions Company of Chicago and Excaliber Shakespeare Company Los Angeles Archival Project Founder, Artistic Director and Producer Darryl Maximilian Robinson presented and recorded a Thursday September 25, 2025 "street theatre"-style rendition of William Shakespeare's Sonnet #15 at The Entrance of the popular television show "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.
Darryl Maximilian Robinson ( who is winner of both a 1997 Chicago Joseph Jefferson Citation Award for Outstanding Actor In A Principal Role In A Play and 1997 Chicago Black Theatre Alliance / Ira Aldridge Award nomination for Best Leading Actor In A Play as well as a 2019 Broadwayworld Chicago Award nomination for Best Performer In A Musical or Revue ) is an experienced Shakespearean actor, who in his early career performed with The National Shakespeare Company of New York, The StagePlayers of Northeastern Illinois University of Chicago, The Indianapolis Shakespeare Festival and The Bristol Renaissance Faire of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and who has ( since 2017 ) performed numerous outdoor video theatre renditions of classic stage speeches, poems and literary works throughout the Greater Los Angeles area including assuming the title role of "King Henry V" to present The St. Crispin's Day Speech at Lincoln Heights Jail , the title role in "King Lear" to relate the "O Reason Not The Need" Speech at The Lincoln Heights Public Library, the character of Lord Jaques of "As You Like It" to share The "Seven Ages of Man" Speech on a side street of Lincoln Heights as well as Duke and Wizard Prospero's "We Are Such Stuff As Dreams Are Made On" Speech before the construction site of The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in LA's Exposition Park.
