Chicago's "Bard of Rogers Park," Playwright and Performer Jeffrey Wayne Helgeson Gives A Free Encore Performance of "The Gospel According To Mark...Twain" at Theatre Y Tonight!

Chicago Area Theatre Lovers and Supporters,
On Friday February 28, a pair of one acts penned by noted Chicago playwright, producer, educator and actor Jeff Helgeson, known to many as "The Bard of Rogers Park" are to be presented.
This should make for an enlightening and entertaining evening of thoughts and ideas by an experienced Windy City dramatist and performer whose work deserves support.
Please join us in appreciating Heirloom Books Resident Scholar, Jeff Helgeson's, upcoming plays, "A Last Lecture" and "The Gospel According to Mark . . . Twain," presented this Friday at Theater Y.

Jeff Helgeson is a talented playwright, producer, actor, and educator known for his intriguing adaptation of "The Gospel According To Mark...Twain."
This piece, which Helgeson composed and edited from the works of Mark Twain, explores themes such as creation, the nature of mankind, biblical narratives, the Ten Commandments, and divine character traits from both the Old and New Testaments.
Helgeson has performed this work at various events, including the 2023 Yippie Fest in Chicago. His portrayal of Mark Twain has been praised for its depth and thought-provoking content.
