THIS JUST IN!: Live Stage and Radio Theatre Lovers, Friends and Associates, be advised that on Wednesday Evening March 11th of 2020 at 7 pm., veteran and award-winning Chicago, St. Louis and Los Angeles stage actor and play director DARRYL MAXIMILIAN ROBINSON had the great pleasure of appearing on an LA area stage for the first time in more than two-and-a-half years when he assumed the role of THE ANNOUNCER in his Ark Theatre Company of North Hollywood Debut Performance in the 1940s-period, funny, classic, and mysterious first preview performance of THE OLD TYME RADIO HOUR production of THE DICK TRACY RADIO SHOW! 

There was plenty of on-street PARKING near the theatre space at 5708 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood, CA. 91601 and this first preview was a PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN-AT-THE-DOOR Theatre Event. So, whether you could only pay a dollar or give $10.00, it is a chance to support and see this acclaimed LA theatre company in its new home.

If you can make it any or the March through May 2020 performances of The Dick Tracy Radio Show ( Opening Wednesday March 18, 2020 at 7 pm. and continuing Wednesday Evenings at 7 pm. and Sunday Afternoons at 2 pm. through May 3, 2020 ), just show up at The Ark Theatre by 6:45 pm. on Wednesdays or 1:45 pm on Sundays, and complimentary TOOTSIE ROLLS will be provided!

DARRYL MAXIMILIAN ROBINSON made his last Greater LA area stage appearance in a critically-praised performance as prosecutor District Attorney Flint in the 2017 Emmanuel Lutheran Actors' Theatre Ensemble - ELATE revival of Ayn Rand's classic courtroom drama Night of January 16th at The Lincoln Stegman Theatre in North Hollywood, Ca. His most recent assigment on stage was playing the dual roles of The Chairman Mr. William Cartwright of The Music Hall Royale and The Mayor Thomas Sapsea of Cloisterham, England in the 2018 Saint Sebastian Players of Chicago revival production of Rupert Holmes' Tony Award-winning Best Musical Whodunit The Mystery of Edwin Drood performed at the more than a century old St. Bonaventure Church in The Windy City and for which Darryl Maximilian Robinson received a 2019 BroadwayWorld Chicago Award nomination for Best Performer In A Musical or Revue ( Resident Non-Equity ).  

This OLD TYME RADIO HOUR debut performance of THE DICK TRACY RADIO SHOW by THE ARK THEATRE OF NORTH HOLLYWOOD will also be audio-taped and videotaped for posterity with possible shots of our live audience, and Your Humble Announcer DARRYL MAXIMILIAN ROBINSON will be available to chat with all audience members after the show!
