Los Angeles - This week marks the third anniversary of when veteran and award-winning stage actor and play director Darryl Maximilian Robinson ( The Founder of the multiracial, non-Equity professional chamber theatre The Excaliber Shakespeare Company of Chicago ) paid a visit to long-time friend and former St. Louis Excaliber Productions, Ltd. Member J. L. Watt, a very talented photographer, editor and videographer, who owns a modest and charming studio in West Los Angeles, so that Mr. Robinson, a more than four-decade-long theatre artist, could begin the process of documenting and archiving his work in The Performing Arts. What Mr. Robinson and Mr. Watt would ultimately create was a photo shoot session and video entitled: Darryl Maximilian Robinson In His Awards Room! The video was shot on April 16, 2017 and was recorded in Two Takes ( With Take Two Serving As The Creators' Primary Cut ). Dozens of photos with Mr. Robinson displaying several of his local and regional theatre honors made up the balance of the session.

The following weekend ( which was also the birthday weekend of immortal bard WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE ) on April 23, 2017, Darryl Maximilian Robinson found himself unexpectedly paying a visit to the wonderful FRANK SINATRA HALL AT THE EILEEN NORRIS CINEMA THEATRE OF USC! Upon seeing the wide range of wonderful honors of Ol' Blue Eyes so handsomely displayed and carefully preserved, Mr. Robinson imposed upon talented photographer KEVIN SHAW ( AKA SHAWZAM ), and he kindly took photos of the stage actor and play director at that location. It was after perusing photos from both of these sessions, and pondering the matter further that DARRYL MAXIMILIAN ROBINSON LAUNCHED THE EXCALIBER SHAKESPEARE COMPANY LOS ANGELES ARCHIVAL PROJECT!
